An Ice Planet is a type of planet with an icy surface of volatiles such as water, ammonia, and methane. Ice planets consist of a global cryosphere.
A Dwarf Planet is a planetary-mass object that is neither a planet nor a natural satellite. It is massive enough for its gravity to crush itself into a hydrostatic equilibrium shape (usually a spheroid), but has not cleared the neighborhood of other material around its orbit due its low mass.
A Desert Planet is a type of terrestrial planet with very little or no water at all, to distinguish from the Arid planet.
An Ocean Planet is a type of planet that has a substantial fraction of its mass made of water. The surface on such planets would be completely covered with an ocean of water hundreds of kilometers deep, much deeper than the oceans of Earth.
Acid Planets have thick atmospheres of deadly gases like Carbon Dioxide, Cyanide, Nitrogen Dioxide or Sulphur Dioxide.
